We retain two types of information:

I am committed to protecting your privacy and security. Please read carefully so that you are aware of the steps I take to protect your privacy, what information I collect and how I use it. By engaging with Willow Tree you are accepting the terms of my privacy statement.
What Data I collect?
Willow Tree collects basic personal information in the service of its primary task which is to match a client seeking therapy to that of the therapist. Personal information I hold may include some or all of the following: name, address, telephone number , date of birth , email contact and any other data that was provided at the point of scheduling the initial consultation. This information is maintained on a secure password protected database ( on an encrypted PC) along with a single piece of special category data i.e reason for referral.
Willow Tree does not hold records of notes of the therapy sessions that are carried out between clients and therapists who are independent practitioners in their own clinical settings.
Why we will collect it?
The personal information data collected is primarily used to enable onward referral to an appropriate therapist.
Willow Tree also uses some of the data which will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and only used for quantitative analysis for the purpose of auditing referrals in any one year, Number of males/females, sources of referrals number of referrals presenting with particular issues e.g Child anxiety , Adolescent issues. Workplace stress or relationship issues etc.
How long do I keep it ?
Personal data in paper form is kept for 1 year and thereafter is securely shredded. Personal data in electronic form is held in a database for 5 years and then securely deleted.
Your rights in relation to your personal data
You have a right to request access to the personal information that I hold about you by making a ‘’ subject access request’’ If you believe that any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have a right to request that I correct or complete your personal information.
You have a right to request that I restrict the processing of your personal information for specific purposes.
If you wish me to delete your personal information , you may request that I do so.
Sharing your data:
The data collected is used to enable onward referral to an appropriate therapist.
The therapist you are referred on to will also have GDPR policies , procedures and practices in place.
